To remove the fuel filter housing, place the white plastic holder in a vice using the flats to secure (Do not tighten up). Place the filter housing inside the white holder, now tighten vice (no more than 30Nm). Fit the 3 leg filter key to the top of the housing and undo to remove the old filter.
